CargoStop now offers Recycling Services for all Ratchet Straps and Lifting Slings. Any used, old, worn, and/or damaged ratchet straps, webbing, and lifting slings will be accepted at our CargoStop Warehouse, CO4 9TB. The items for recycling can be collected and taken to our disposal site. Upon arrival, they will be weighed and booked for processing.

The items will then be processed by removing any metal components, which will be sent for recycling at a specialized metal facility. The polyester strapping will be shredded and sent for refuse-derived fuel (RDF), which is incinerated to generate heat and power for use in UK homes. This process is considered recycling, as it repurposes waste to create power when there are no other alternatives other than landfill.
